Balkan Training Days 2011 – vil du være med?

For 9. året på rad arrangerer Europeisk Ungdom Balkan Training Days (BTD), hvor vi samler ungdom fra alle landene på Balkan og Moldova til fire dager med organisasjonsbygging, samarbeid og vennskap over landegrensene. Seminaret avholdes fra 29. september til 2. oktober i Ohrid, Makedonia.

Dersom du er interessert i å delta, må du fylle ut søknadsskjemaet på engelsk, som du finner her. Søknadsfristen er 15. august 2011. Deltakelse er gratis.

Balkan Training Days 2011 – call for participants

JEF Norway and JEF Macedonia are very glad to be able to invite you to the 9th consecutive Balkan Training Days, this year taking place in Ohrid, Macedonia from 29th of September until 2nd of October 2011.

First of all, what is the BTD?

The Balkan Training Days (BTD) is a collaboration project between Europeisk Ungdom (JEF Norway), JEF Moldova, JEF Croatia, JEF Serbia, JEF Kosovo, JEF Macedonia, JEF Albania, JEF Bosnia-Herzegovina and JEF Montenegro.
The project is initiated by Europeisk Ungdom (JEF Norway) and funded by the Democracy Funds of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The main goal of the project is to supply organisational and leadership training to key persons and active members in the JEF sections in the Western Balkans and Moldova, which will further develop the sections as well as ensure their sustainability.

In 2011 the BTD will be organised for the 9th time, and the second time with JEF Macedonia as host organisation.

The main topic for the BTD11 is “Organisational Development”, with a special focus on how to build and maintain a strong and inclusive organisation. In addition to the organisational development related topics,

the main seminar will also focus upon teambuilding, fundraising, promotion of an inclusive organisational culture, including internal democracy, good and just leadership, as well as exchange of experience and best practices.

The project will consist of three separate events, a preparation meeting was held in Skopje in June, a main seminar from September 29th until October 2rd in Ohrid, Macedonia, and a follow up seminar, where the host section will be selected by all the participants together during the main seminar.

Deadline for applications
Applications have to be submitted via the online form the latest by Monday 15th of August 2011. All applicants will be contacted shortly thereafter.

NB! For participants from Moldova the application deadline is 1st of August, due to visa requirements.

Participation fee

There is no participation fee at the BTD

Travel reimbursements
All documented travel expences to and from Ohrid will be reimbursed.

Visa
Applicants requiring a visa for Macedonia should indicate this in the online application form.

Language
The seminar will be held in English.
